About Yorkshire Forward
Yorkshire Forward is the Regional Development Agency (RDA) for Yorkshire and Humber. As one of nine RDAs in England, we were established in 1999 to transform the English regions through sustainable economic development.
Following the Government’s decision to abolish Regional Development Agencies by April 2012, we have worked closely with public and private sector bodies in region to manage the transition of our responsibilities, prior to our closure.
We remain supportive of economic recovery and future growth for Yorkshire and Humber and are keen to work closely with our partners to help them understand functions, projects and activities which we currently manage and deliver.
We will endeavor to keep staff, stakeholders, partners and suppliers up to date with developments throughout this transitional stage.

We maintain offices in South Yorkshire and the Humber. The teams based there work closely with individuals, businesses and partners to identify local challenges and how best to respond.
