Environmental clubs & networks
Any business which wants to improve its environmental credentials and performance should consider joining an environmental club/network. Amongst other benefits, these organisations can make a big different to your knowledge and understanding of environmental issues; share tried and tested solutions and best practice; and offer networking opportunities.
In particular, they:
- Provide an invaluable local context, especially for SMEs
- Encourage members to develop and use environmentally sound management practices
- Help businesses to make the most of opportunities
- Help to maximise community’s involvement and relationships with other relevant organisations in the region.
