Our Key Account Management programme
Yorkshire Forward works with the region’s largest companies to help them compete in the global market. We assist in areas that impact on productivity and help them to expand their operations within the region. Building productive relationships with these companies is vital as they account for half of the region’s GVA (Gross Value Added). Over 40% are foreign owned, so their investment and restructuring decisions can have a significant impact on our economy.
The relationship with these businesses is managed through our Key Account Management (KAM) team. The team works to develop a deep understanding of the companies’ needs, so that we can assist in generating high-value business propositions, identify market opportunities, determine the resources required to meet growth requirements, and help to develop competitive advantage.
At present we’re actively targeting the top 200 companies in Yorkshire & Humber, and coordinating with local authority partners on 500 further accounts.
