Graduates Yorkshire
Yorkshire Forward works in partnership with Graduates Yorkshire, a website whereby graduates (from across the region and across the UK) and the region’s employers can find one another.
Jobcentre Plus
Jobcentre Plus is an initiative of the Department for Work and Pensions. Its goal is to:
- Help recruit more people into paid jobs
- Help employers fill their vacancies
- Give people of working age the help and support they’re entitled to if they cannot work.
JOBMatch (South Yorkshire)
JOBMatch is a free and unique HR consultancy service. It has been providing a bespoke service to inward investors and expanding local businesses across South Yorkshire since 2001. JOBMatch provides a single point of access for recruitment and development support through a unique brokerage service based upon established local networks.
Construction Industry Training at HMP Lindholme
Thanks to a Yorkshire Forward initiative, prisoners at HMP Lindholme Prison, near Doncaster, have the chance to turn their lives around. Under the scheme, Construction Industry Training (CIT) provides prisoners with construction industry skills via the Intermediate Construction Award (ICA).
