In 2004, the Airedale Partnership, City of Bradford District Council and Yorkshire Forward appointed Arup and a team of supporting consultants to develop a masterplan and strategy for Airedale, which were then launched in 2005.

What is the strategy for Airedale?

At the heart of the masterplan is the regeneration of the three inter-connected town centres of Keighley, Bingley and Shipley. The vision for Airedale focuses on a place that combines creative, connected and lifestyle corridors, set against a green backdrop.
