Bedale

Situated in Hambleton District in North Yorkshire, Bedale is a traditional market town and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Its Georgian heyday is reflected in the elegant buildings lining the historic market square. Bedale's 12th century church, St. Gregory's, is one of the finest churches in North Yorkshire. Bedale also lays claim to the only listed leech house in the country.

As the gateway to Wensleydale, Bedale nestles in some of Yorkshire's finest scenery. Well-connected to the nearby A1, Bedale lies on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales within the Vale of Mowbray. Both the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks are within easy reach.
