Bedale Ginnels case study

In many of our market towns, ginnels connect the town to the central retail core. In Bedale several ginnels have had improvements made to them. These small scale investments make a big difference to local residents and visitors to the town.

Under the Rural Target Fund and the Heritage Partnership Scheme there have been improvements to some key pedestrian routes into the Market Place. High quality Yorkstone and paving has been used. The improvements are clear to see and welcolmed residents and visitors.
