Settle is a thriving market town situated in the Craven District, in the Yorkshire Dales. Its market charter dates back to the 13th century, and weekly markets continue every Tuesday. Settle also has a wide range of independent and family-owned businesses, including shops, cafes and hotels.
With good road links to surrounding conurbations, the famous Settle-Carlisle railway also operates a daily service throughout the Yorkshire Dales and beyond to Leeds and Lancashire. Settle is 29 miles away from Leeds Bradford Airport.
