Summary

Kimberly-Clark Ltd operate a plant that manufactures diapers in Barton-upon-Humber, North Lincolnshire.

In 2006, they were awarded £1.5m in GBI funding towards a £11.6m project to upgrade 5 existing diaper assets and implement project Earth to secure its long term survival against competition from other sites in the Group and achieve a growth rate of 13%. This meant that 215 jobs at the plant were safeguarded.
