Yorkshire Forward’s Centres of Industrial Collaboration (CIC) help companies to innovate and thrive. Each CIC has
- A dedicated Commercial Manager, who has hands on experience of their industry sector
- A Centre Director, who is internationally recognised in their field of science or technology
- A Scientific Advisory Board composed of leading academics and industrialists, who guide the strategic direction of the Centre
Summary
The Yorkshire Forward Materials Analysis & Research Services CIC is based at Sheffield Hallam University. It has a Commercial Manager and a team including six industry-active Professors who will collaborate with industry and offer services on a fully commercial basis. Their aim is to help solve clients’ technical, design, product development and production problems, by providing the technical advantage needed for continued commercial success.
