Summary
Part-funded by Yorkshire Forward, the Enterprise Centre supports budding entrepreneurs, particularly students, by encouraging them to start their own business.
Based at the University of Hull the centre contains 1,191 square metres of serviced business development space including individual start-up offices (incubators), meeting and video-conferencing rooms with networked telephony, WiFi and high-speed broadband internet access.
Advice and support is available at the centre to not only grow the businesses developed within the university, but also well established external businesses. Support at the centre includes business planning, operational management support, training, networking, financial records guidance, and management, marketing and promotional support, as well as product development.
