The Yorkshire Forward Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Centre of Industrial Collaboration (BITECIC Ltd) combines the world-class expertise of over 100 researchers at Leeds, Sheffield and York Universities, as well as the active involvement of clinical collaborators at the University hospitals. The centre provides organisations with state-of-the-art facilities, dedicated project management and commercial know-how, services which have proven invaluable for companies working with orthopaedics, wound care, urology and cardiac or cardiovascular surgery.
