Clipper yacht race helps form trade alliance

Regional development agency Yorkshire Forward has secured a rare tripartite trade collaboration relationship with counterpart agencies in Qingdao, China and Cape Breton, Canada during the latest stopover in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race.

Funding approved for Killingholme Marshes

The Yorkshire Forward Board yesterday committed up to £3.76million to fund drainage improvements on the Killingholme Marshes area of the South Humber Gateway, to enable the development of the site into a hub for renewable energies.

The illustrated talk introduces the 17 (or 18) species of penguins and explains how our actions are leading them into decline.
