Halliwells employment law seminar: a practical guide to the new ACAS code of practice

29/01/2009

Post code : S2 4SU

The repeal of the statutory procedures and the implementation of the new ACAS Code of Practice in April 2009 will mean wholesale changes to the way in which employment disputes are managed. Employers may have to deal with claims out of the blue as there will be no requirement to first raise a grievance. In addition the claims may be expected to arrive a lot more quickly as there will be no longer be an automatic extension of time limits.

In this seminar the Halliwells’ Employment team will provide a step by step guide to dealing with disciplinary and grievance procedures under the regime. Workshop examples will be given of situations where unwary employees can fall foul of the Code’s provisions and checklists provided to help you avoid the pitfalls of the new procedures.

If you would like to register for this seminar, please contact carly.jones@halliwells.com. The cost to attend the seminar is £95 +VAT per delegate and it will be held at Sheffield United Football Club from 09.00-12.45.
