Creating Better Futures Awards 2010

Organised by Yorkshire Forward, the annual Creating Better Futures Awards will be held on Thursday 1st July at Leeds City Museum and highlight the successful partnerships between the private sector and voluntary, community and faith (VCF) organisations. They demonstrate how working in partnership can encourage the sharing and development of skills, knowledge and ability within the community, developing the economy and promoting best practice.

There will be seven awards made to partnerships which have demonstrated diversity, innovation, leadership, and ambition – in short, all the qualities which make for a successful and dynamic partnership. One of the awards will be made to a partnership between the third sector and an organisation in the public sector. Each winning VCF organisation receives a grant of £10,000.

Guest speaker at the Awards evening will be Michelle Mone OBE. Michelle is a highly successful entrepreneur, co-owner of MJM International and founder of Ultimo.
