Bradford firm creates six jobs

The Yorkshire-based ABS group has created an initial six jobs by signing a deal that will see it become the main distributor for electronics giant Panasonic in the UK.
The company says more jobs will follow with the agreement of the contract, which will see ABS Office Products provide printers, photocopiers are other equipment to offices across the country.
The group, created 11 years ago by John Lees and based on the Euroway trading estate near Bradford, secured the deal in February after Panasonic decided to end its UK distribution scheme.
Since signing the contract, the operation has grown at an unexpected rate, with turnover of £1.45m predicted this year - a figure expected to grow by a further £1m in the next 12 months.
Mr Lees said: "Panasonic ceasing its UK operations created a big opportunity and we had some spare capacity and space here and were able to take it on.
"I have been delighted at the success of the business so far. It has grown quickly, with turnover ahead of target and enabled us to create some new jobs."
