A new addition to Yorkshire city's skyline, the 21-storey Candle House in Leeds, has been launched to the public.
The landmark is a cylindrical residential building developed by ISIS Waterside Regeneration and designed by CareyJones Architects.
Its launch event marked the end of the final stage of development at Granary Wharf, which ISIS Waterside Regeneration has redone at a cost of £90 million.
Candle House boasts a roof-top terrace at a height of 75 metres, with large glass windows fringing the circumference of the circular decked garden.
Housing 160 apartments from studio to one and two bedroom properties, the prices range from £99,950 for a studio apartment to £199,950 for a two-bedroom one.
The Government is also backing a HomeBuy Direct scheme at Candle House and Waterman's Place, Granary Wharf, which is aimed at attracting potential buyers.
City Inn, the newest hotel in Leeds was completed last year as part of the first two stages of development at Granary Wharf.
A new live music and real ale venue called The Hop will be launched on March 26, the first Leeds venture for Yorkshire-based Ossett Brewery.
Plans for the summer include a series of events and markets, which will be announced in April.
