Doncaster-based Clyde Process Solutions (CPS) has secured a £1.7 million deal with a leading food company.
The pneumatic conveying and air filtration solutions firm will provide the unnamed customer with an ingredient handling system at one of their largest production facilities in the US.
With its pneumatic conveying technology, the Doncaster firm will handle all the ingredients used in the manufacture of the customer's new cereal product.
Alex Stewart, chief executive of CPS, said: "We are delighted to have secured one of our largest orders in the food industry in this financial year.
"Our global subsidiaries continue to focus on building our order book by converting the significant sales pipeline of opportunities we have generated across many of our key customer markets."
Saying that the deal is in line with management expectations, Mr Stewart added that it has strengthened the firm's presence within the US food market.
The firm believes that the current deal "will lead to additional orders in the future".
CPS has previously won deals worth £1.9 million from two separate Asian steel producers.
