Former cricketer and television star Darren Gough will be backing the launch of an Indian restaurant in West Yorkshire, it has been said.
The Yorkshire and England cricket legend will honour the launch of Cinnamon Café in Wakefield with his presence.
The star, who took part in the BBC show Strictly Come Dancing in 2005, earlier supported the opening of Cinnamon Lounge - another restaurant under the same brand. The restaurant at Horbury Bridge has two dishes named after him.
Cinnamon Café owner Sam Miah said: "Darren's a huge fan of Indian food, and has been a regular at our first Cinnamon Lounge in Flockton Moor since that opened in October 2007.
"In fact, Darren's such a fan of ours that we've even named two of our dishes after him!"
Cinnamon Café - a £30,000 investment - specialises in freshly cooked Indian food, together with pasta, paninis and wraps.
Mr Miah said: "Cinnamon Café is about relaxing, taking time out, meeting up with friends and unwinding, but importantly about enjoying yourself when you eat and drink.
"We want to stand out from the crowd; we want to offer something different to Wakefield which is why we are already looking to experiment with local ingredients such as rhubarb and liquorice."
