Rixonway joins Wates for project

A West Yorkshire kitchen manufacturer will work with building contractor Wates to supply kitchens for a regeneration project.
As part of the £350,000 contract, Dewsbury-based firm Rixonway will be supplying more than 550 kitchens for the Ocean Estate regeneration project over a period of 30 months.
Rixonway Kitchens supplies products to the community regeneration sector. It was established in 1978.
The project, which is part of a bigger £200m scheme led by ALMO Tower Hamlets and the East Thames Consortium is aimed at improving 780 properties by 2013.
Paul Rose, chief executive of Rixonway Kitchens, said: "We are delighted to be involved with such a prestigious refurbishment scheme.
"Rixonway has worked with Wates as its agreed supplier on a number of projects and share a common commitment to tackling environmental challenges.
"We follow a number of environmental and sustainable practices throughout our production process including a recycling service and the conversion of all wood waste generated during the manufacturing process into biomass fuel."
