Rural Development Programme for England
The Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) is one of the main mechanisms for rural businesses and communities to access EU rural funding for socio-economic activities. Yorkshire Forward is now responsible for the delivery of £9.5 million per year of these funds until 2013. The source of these funds is the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD).
In addition, Yorkshire Forward now administers projects that were funded through the previous EU funded, England Rural Development Programme (ERDP) 2000-06. Please see info below for existing ERDP claimants continuing to make claims.
In Y&H the socio economic element is to be delivered through the programmes of activity detailed below, further information on how RDPE operates nationally is available at: http://www.defra.gov.uk/rural/rdpe/index.htm
