Children with disabilities and their carers have been given the opportunity to take part in a Dragons’ Den style workshop with leading designers at an event arranged by Devices for Dignity (D4D) Healthcare Technology Cooperative - which is hosted by Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Seven of Yorkshire and Humber’s voluntary, community and faith (VCF) sector organisations have seen their work with public and private sector partners rewarded at the third annual Yorkshire Forward Creating Better Futures awards.

The Creating Better Futures Awards 2010 will take place on Thursday 1st July at Leeds City Museum. For the last ten years Yorkshire Forward has worked with a wide range of partners to support community-based economic development. During this time we've seen many inspiring projects, along with the organisations managing them, which deserve to be better promoted.
